Udaipur Records 2.44 Lakh Visitors in January 2026

2026 started off with tremendous success for tourism in Udaipur, as more than 244,558 visitors recorded in January alone. According to data released by the tourism department, over 2.25 lakh were domestic travellers while 19,558 were international guests. Although there was a slight decrease in number compared to January of 2025, the statistics demonstrate that Udaipur has retained its status among the top tourist destinations in Rajasthan.

Tourism officials in Rajasthan have found the statistics to be encouraging, particularly after 2025 emerged as a record year with nearly 19.96 lakh domestic and 1.61 lakh foreign visitors. Improved connectivity, the new Vande Bharat train service is one instance of improved transport, which will help Udaipur to continue its rise in guest numbers.
